The Bix Beiderbecke Memorial Jazz Festival
Bix & Friends
JULY 22-25, 2010
It is a special moment in time… every summer, returning now for nearly 40 years. The Bix Beiderbecke Memorial Jazz Society brings traditional jazz back again to the riverfront. And it is a good time. Jazz is like that; it can make friends out of strangers, bonding and binding them. And so they come here again, this year to the thirty-ninth annual BIX BEIDERBECKE MEMORIAL JAZZ FESTIVAL. This year of jazz on the river we recall some of the friends of Bix from long ago… Hoagy and Bing, Jean Goldkette, Paul Whiteman… so many more. It happens July 22nd-25th. We hope you enjoy the summer, this moment in time. Come listen to timeless jazz. Be a friend again… to Bix.
