ISU Scott County Extension Master Gardeners – Perpetual Calendar
By Duane Gissel
Iowa State University Scott County Extension
The ISU Scott County Extension Master Gardeners have made a Perpetual Calendar, and they are now available to purchase. This durable perpetual calendar is designed to serve as a guide for you to garden successfully year round for years to come. Monthly blank pages allow you to record your own reminders along with the included tips and techniques such as when to seed, plant, prune, and cultivate your garden. You can list the appearance of insects and diseases, the treatment used, and the results. This calendar will become a valuable resource for your specific needs. Each month a native plant is highlighted because of its beauty and adaptability to our area. We hope that you will incorporate one or more of these native plants into your garden.
Calendars are $7 and available at the ISU Scott County Extension Office, 875 Tanglefoot Lane, Bettendorf, Iowa, Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. until 4:30 p.m.
