Once Again, It’s Festival Time in the Hilltop Campus Village
Retrofest 2017 will take place on Saturday, September 16. In the Hilltop Plaza. The Plaza is at Harrison Street and 15th – right in the heart of the Hilltop Campus Village!
Admission to the event is free. Drink tickets will be sold for soft drinks and beer selections.
This year’s Retrofest festival celebrates the decade of the 1980s. There will be a car show displaying classic automobiles of the era, some from years gone by and maybe even some “futuristic” models – you know from beyond the 1980s.
Live bands will be performing afternoon and early evening of the festival. So come listen to the oldies. Rock out! Reminisce! Local vendors will be selling a wide variety of culinary delights for your eating and drinking pleasures.
Young and not so young alike are encouraged to come out, visit the many businesses in the area and see what the Hilltop Campus Village has to offer!
The younguns can create their own cardboard car to sit in while they watch the movie shown on the big inflatable screen. Movie time will be approximately 7:30 since it must be dark enough to see the screen. Bring your lawn chairs or picnic blankets. If you like, create a “car” at home and bring it along. These “vehicles” can be set up just like the drive-in movies that were still around in the 1980s.
