New Location for Shumaker Guitar Works in The Hilltop Campus Village

A little less than two years ago Thad Shumaker opened his business, Shumaker Guitar Works, in the Hilltop Campus Village. He has been a great asset to the community. Now he is moving to a new location in the Hilltop Campus Village, 1501 N. Harrison, with a planned opening in mid-April. He is extremely excited about this new move, giving him greater visibility in the area.

Shumaker Guitar Works is not just a guitar store. As his name implies, it is the whole works! Shumaker builds instruments from scratch, not from catalog parts or kits. Thad makes instruments by hand. He is a true luthier, a craftsman and maker of stringed instruments. He does restoration of vintage pieces, custom mades, ukuleles, banjoes and the like, and not only the stringed instruments but also amplifiers and accessories.
