Santa Cheese Board

  • 2 blocks of Monterey jack cheese
  • 1 block of cheddar cheese
  • 1 package of pepperoni or circular meat of your choice
  • 1 block of pepperjack cheese
  • 2 slices of summer sausage
  • 2 sliced olives

(or you can use your favorite cheeses)

 


 

Directions:

  1. Start with the cheddar cheese. Make it three-dimensional with the nose being a large chunk.
  2. Create the beard next, using pepperoni or summer sausage for the mouth.
  3. The brim of the hat is smaller pieces of pepperjack cheese.
  4. Create the hat and don’t forget the pom-pom on top with some cheese.

Grinch Veggie Plate

  • Head of cauliflower
  • Head of broccoli
  • 3 red peppers
  • 2 slices of a lemon
  • 2 cranberries
  • Seaweed strips or black licorice

 

Directions:

  1. Start with the broccoli to make the shape of the face.
  2. Use cauliflower to make the brim of the hat and a collar along the bottom of the Grinch’s face.
  3. Use red peppers to make a hat.
  4. Use cauliflower to make the ball on top of the hat.
  5. Use lemon slices for the eyes.
  6. Use cranberries for the eyeballs.
  7. If you want to stick to the veggie theme, use seaweed strips for the mouth and eyebrows, or you can use black licorice; pull and peel is the best but is hard to find in black licorice.
