Merry-Go-Round

If you can’t stop a
Grotesque merry-go-round,
Get off if you can.
Behind the hustle and
Bustle, a spirit can die,
Get off if you can.
Scared little boy in adult skin,
Scared little girl in adult skin,
Get off if you can.

Sea Mystery

The sea rolls away from me,
A mystery unfolding, a mystery
Ever changing, the mystery
Never ends.
The sea runs away from my eyes,
It lifts waves toward the clouded,
Roseate, darkening sky.
The sea flows away from me,
Takes leave of its deep-blue,
Swimming with green shadows.
The sea is mystery, where the sea
Ends I cannot fathom from where
I see. I have far to see to see the sea.
