What’s Happenin’ at D’Allen Salon Suites

D’Allen Salon Suites opened their doors in the fall of 2014 at the southeast corner of 14th Street and Harrison. Martha Spears, the manager of the suites, is pleased with the location and opportunities in the Hilltop Campus Village. She liked this location because she could see that this community was once again becoming vibrant part of the QCA. She herself has become an active role model in the community through her involvement with the Hilltop Campus Village and the Hilltop Merchants Association.

For those of you that are not familiar with the “Salon Suite” concept, it is the idea of taking the area within a building and renting out individual spaces, or suites, to professionals in the beauty industry. It has been a growing trend in all of the big cities for about five years.

When you walk through the doors of D’Allen Salon you enter into a relaxing spa-like atmosphere. A serene, elegant but homey feeling greets you. Inside are the doors to the individual booths, or in this case, private suites.

Each suite has its own licensed beauty professional with the freedom and flexibility of their own private studio. It is designed for the independent professional to be able to own their own business, providing a more personalized service for the clients.
